Cedarville University is a private, coeducational university located in Cedarville, Ohio, United States. The university is affiliated with the Baptist Church. Cedarville University was founded in 1887 by the members of the Cedarville Baptist Church in order to train young men for ministry. The first class consisted of only 12 students. The university has grown significantly since its humble beginnings and now enrolls over 3,700 students from all 50 states and over 40 countries. The university offers over 150 programs of study in a variety of fields, including business, education, engineering, nursing, and more. Cedarville University is committed to providing a Christ-centered education that equips students for faithful and fruitful service to God and others.
