Carolina University is a small, private university located in the heart of North Carolina. Founded in 1857, Carolina University is one of the oldest private universities in the state. The university is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate and master's degrees. The university offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs through its five colleges: the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Business, the School of Education, the School of Health Sciences, and the School of Law.
