Capital University is a private university located in Columbus, Ohio. The university was founded in 1830 as the Ohio Wesleyan Female College and is now affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Capital University is the oldest university in Central Ohio and the only accredited university in the city. The university offers a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate programs and is home to the Capital Law School.
