Oral Roberts University (ORU), is a private, comprehensive, interdenominational, Christian university located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States. Founded in 1963, the university is named after its founder, evangelist Oral Roberts, and accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The school enrolls approximately 4,000 students, representing 50 states and over 60 countries. The university features a student-body ratio of 15:1 and an average class size of 23. The campus, designed by architect Frank Wallace, is the largest privately owned library in the world.

ORU offers over 150 undergraduate programs and over 70 graduate programs. The school of business is the largest and most popular, with over 2,000 students enrolled. Other popular majors include nursing, engineering, and communication. The university is also home to the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics, a two-year residential high school for the state's top math and science students.

ORU is known for its unique approach to education, which integrates the liberal arts, professional studies, and spiritual growth.
