West Los Angeles College (WLAC) is a two-year community college located in the unincorporated community of Culver City, California. The college is part of the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) and offers associate's degrees and certificate programs. The college has a student body of over 10,000 students.
WLAC was founded in 1967 as a result of the California Master Plan for Higher Education. The college originally operated out of a converted high school campus. In 1975, the college moved to its current location on Sepulveda Boulevard. The college offers a variety of academic programs, including liberal arts, business, and health sciences.
The college has a strong commitment to student success and offers a variety of support services, including tutoring and counseling. The college also has an active student life, with over 50 student clubs and organizations.
West Los Angeles College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
