Wesley Theological Seminary is a private, non-profit institution of higher education affiliated with the United Methodist Church. The seminary's main campus is located in Washington, D.C., with a satellite campus in Atlanta, Georgia.

Founded in 1817, Wesley Theological Seminary is one of the oldest seminaries in the United States. The seminary's founding was strongly influenced by Methodism's founder, John Wesley.
