Stone Child College is a small, private, liberal arts college located in the town of Rocky Boy, Montana, on the Chippewa-Cree Indian Reservation. The college was founded in 1977 by the late Dr. Richard B. Williams, a member of the Chippewa-Cree Tribe, and is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. The college enrolls approximately 350 students, the majority of whom are Native American. The college offers associate and bachelor's degrees in a variety of fields, including business, education, liberal arts, and social work. The college is committed to providing a quality education to its students and to promoting economic development on the reservation.
