Salem State University is a public university in Salem, Massachusetts. Founded in 1854 as Salem Normal School, Salem State University is the third largest state university in Massachusetts. Salem State University offers undergraduate and graduate programs in a variety of disciplines, with over 5,000 students enrolled in over 60 undergraduate and graduate programs.
