Admission Requirements
Northeastern University Lifelong Learning Network (NELLN) offers a variety of degree and certificate programs for adults who wish to continue their education. NELLN is committed to providing flexible, affordable, and convenient educational opportunities to learners of all ages.
Admission to NELLN programs is open to any person who has a high school diploma or equivalent. There are no age restrictions. NELLN does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
NELLN offers both credit and non-credit programs. Credit programs are designed for students who wish to earn a degree or certificate. Non-credit programs are designed for students who wish to take courses for personal enrichment or professional development.
Tuition for credit programs is based on the number of credits taken. Tuition for non-credit programs is based on the number of courses taken. Financial aid is available for those who qualify.
NELLN has a rolling admissions policy. This means that applications are accepted throughout the year and decisions are made on a rolling basis. This allows students to apply and be accepted to programs at any time.
