The New England Culinary Institute (NECI) is a private, for-profit culinary school located in Montpelier, Vermont, United States. It was founded in 1980 by Fran Voigt and Jack C. Wright. The school offers Associate of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Culinary Arts and Culinary Science, as well as a Diploma in Culinary Arts. NECI also offers a six-month Intensive Culinary Arts Program (ICAP).

NECI's curriculum focuses on both the technical and creative aspects of the culinary arts, and students have the opportunity to learn from some of the world's leading chefs. The school has a strong commitment to sustainable and local food systems, and all of its dining facilities are certified by the Green Restaurant Association.

NECI is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), and its programs are approved by the Vermont State Board of Education. The school is a member of the American Culinary Federation (ACF) and the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP).

Since its inception, NECI has graduated thousands of students who have gone on to successful careers in the culinary arts. The school's alumni include James Beard Award-winning chefs, cookbook authors, and food industry leaders.
