Manhattan College is a private college in the Bronx, New York. It was founded in 1853 by the Brothers of the Christian Schools. The college is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.

The college offers more than 40 majors and concentrations in the liberal arts, business, education, engineering, and science. The college has an enrollment of about 3,700 students. The student-to-faculty ratio is 13-to-1. The average class size is 20 students.

The college has a strong commitment to service learning and has been named one of the top 50 colleges in the country for community service by The Princeton Review. The college offers study abroad programs in more than 20 countries.

Manhattan College has a Division I athletics program and is a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The college fields 22 teams in 11 sports. The college has won numerous conference championships and has produced many All-Americans.

The college is located on a 36-acre campus in the Bronx. The campus includes several historic buildings, including a Gothic Revival chapel. The college also has a new state-of-the-art science center.
