MCPHS University, formerly known as the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, is a private university in Boston, Massachusetts. The university is composed of seven schools and colleges, and offers over 80 undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree programs. The university's main campus is located in the Longwood Medical and Academic Area, and its Boston campus is located in the city's Financial District.
Founded in 1823, MCPHS is the oldest institution of higher education in Boston and one of the oldest pharmacy schools in the United States. The university is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education.
