Keene State College is a public institution of higher learning located in Keene, New Hampshire, United States. It is a member of the University System of New Hampshire. The college offers bachelor's degrees in over 40 majors as well as master's degrees in education and business administration. The school's athletic teams compete in the NCAA Division III and are known as the Owls. The college was founded in 1909 as Keene Normal School and became a state college in 1963. The school's name was changed to Keene State College in 1968.
