Appalachian Bible College (ABC) is a private, non-profit Bible college located in Mount Hope, West Virginia, United States. The college was founded in 1950 and is accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education. The college offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate degrees, as well as a two-year certificate program. ABC's mission is to prepare men and women for servant leadership in the church and the world through biblically based, Christ-centered education.
Appalachian Bible College was founded in 1950 by Dr. Robert C. McEwen, a pastor and missionary. The college was originally located in Bradley, West Virginia, but moved to its current location in Mount Hope in 1955. The college offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate degrees, as well as a two-year certificate program.
ABC's undergraduate programs include Bible and theology, business, education, communication, music, and ministry. The college also offers a number of graduate programs, including Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Biblical Studies, and Master of Arts in Christian Education.
The college is accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education and is a member of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities. ABC is also a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.
