The American Academy of Art is a private art school in Chicago, Illinois. It was founded in 1923 by a group of artists and businessmen, and has since grown to become one of the largest art schools in the United States. The Academy offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in a variety of art and design disciplines, and is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design.
