America Evangelical University (AEU) is a private, non-profit, accredited institution of higher education located in Decatur, Georgia, United States. The university is affiliated with the Assemblies of God. It was founded in 1966 as American Bible College by Dr. Ralph W. Harris, then the superintendent of the Georgia-Alabama-North Carolina District of the Assemblies of God. The school was originally located in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, and later moved to its current location in Decatur. In its early years, the college offered only two-year programs, but began offering four-year programs in 1974. In 1979, the college was granted regional accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). In 1986, the college changed its name to American Evangelical University.

AEU offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees. The university is organized into five schools: the School of Bible and Theology, the School of Business, the School of Education, the School of Psychology and Counseling, and the School of Intercultural Studies. Undergraduate programs are offered in a variety of majors, including Bible and Theology, Business, Education, Intercultural Studies, and Psychology. Graduate programs are offered in Bible and Theology, Business, Education, Intercultural Studies, Psychology, and Counseling.

The university is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award bachelor's and master's degrees. The School of Education is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). The School of Business is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The School of Psychology and Counseling is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).
