Founded in 1919, Western New England University is a private, coeducational institution located in Springfield, Massachusetts. The university has an enrollment of more than 4,000 students, representing 37 states and more than 30 countries. The university offers more than 80 undergraduate programs and more than 20 graduate programs, including law and business.

The university is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. The business programs are accredited by the AACSB International. The engineering programs are accredited by the ABET.

The university is divided into four schools: the School of Business, the School of Engineering, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the School of Law.

The School of Business offers undergraduate and graduate programs in accounting, finance, management, and marketing. The School of Engineering offers undergraduate and graduate programs in biomedical, chemical, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering.

The College of Arts and Sciences offers undergraduate programs in the liberal arts and sciences. The School of Law offers Juris Doctor and Master of Laws programs.
