Fresno Pacific University (FPU) is a private, non-profit university in Fresno, California. Founded in 1944, the school is affiliated with the Fresno Pacific University system. The university offers bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, and doctorates in a variety of disciplines, including business, education, nursing, and the liberal arts. FPU is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

FPU was founded as the Pacific Bible Institute by the Pacific District Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. The institute was created in order to train young men and women for ministry. In the early years, the school offered only two-year programs. In 1963, the institute was renamed Pacific College, and began offering four-year bachelor's degrees. The college moved to its current location in southeast Fresno in 1965. In 1997, the college was renamed Fresno Pacific University.

FPU is organized into six schools: the School of Business, the School of Education, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the School of Nursing, the School of Natural Sciences, and the School of Religion. The university offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate degrees, including the Bachelor of Arts, the Bachelor of Science, the Master of Arts, the Master of Business Administration, the Master of Education, the Master of Science in Nursing, and the Doctor of Education.

FPU is committed to providing a quality education at an affordable price. The university offers a number of scholarships and financial aid programs to help students pay for their education. In addition, the university participates in a number of federal and state financial aid programs.

FPU is located on a 100-acre campus in southeast Fresno. The campus includes a number of academic and administrative buildings, as well as a library, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, and a variety of student housing options.

FPU is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The university is also a member of the Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities, the Association of Mennonite Colleges and Universities, and the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.
