Admission Requirements
Wiregrass Georgia Technical College (WGTC) is a public college in Georgia. It is part of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) and offers associate degrees, diplomas, and technical certificates of credit. The college has its main campus in Ben Hill County and a satellite campus in Wilcox County.
WGTC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). The college is also accredited by the following agencies:

Admission to WGTC is open to all high school graduates and GED holders. Applicants must submit an application, transcripts, and a non-refundable application fee. Placement testing is required for some programs.
Some programs at WGTC have additional admission requirements. The following programs require an interview:

WGTC also offers dual enrollment for high school students. Dual enrollment students must meet the following requirements:
-Be enrolled in an accredited high school
-Be 16 years of age or older
-Have a minimum 2.0 GPA
-Take a college placement test
-Submit a dual enrollment application and fee
-Submit an official high school transcript
Students who are not residents of Georgia will be charged out-of-state tuition.
