Vance-Granville Community College (VGCC) is a two-year community college located in Henderson, North Carolina, United States. It is a member of the North Carolina Community College System. Vance-Granville Community College was established in 1969 as Granville Technical Institute. The name was changed to Vance-Granville Technical Institute in 1971 and to Vance-Granville Community College in 1987. The college serves the citizens of Vance, Granville, Warren, and Franklin counties. The college has an enrollment of over 6,000 students.
Vance-Granville Community College offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates in over 50 programs of study. The college also offers adult basic education, continuing education, and workforce development programs. The college has campuses in Henderson, Oxford, and Warrenton. The Henderson campus is the main campus and is located on U.S. Highway 1. The Oxford campus is located on College Street and the Warrenton campus is located on Main Street.
Vance-Granville Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate degrees. The college is also accredited by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
