The University of South Carolina-Sumter is a public, coeducational university located in Sumter, South Carolina, United States. It is a member institution of the University of South Carolina System. USC Sumter offers associate's and bachelor's degrees in a variety of disciplines. The university is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award degrees at the associate's and bachelor's level.

USC Sumter was established in 1973 as a two-year branch campus of the University of South Carolina. The campus initially enrolled just over 500 students. In 1976, the campus moved to its current location on Miller Road. In 1992, USC Sumter began offering four-year degrees and became an independent institution within the University of South Carolina System. The campus has seen steady growth in enrollment in recent years and now serves over 2,000 students.

USC Sumter offers a variety of academic programs leading to associate's and bachelor's degrees. The university is organized into four academic divisions: Arts and Sciences, Business and Economics, Education, and Health and Human Services. USC Sumter also offers a number of online degree programs. The campus is home to a number of student organizations and clubs, as well as fraternities and sororities. USC Sumter Athletics competes in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I. The USC Sumter Fire Ants baseball team has won four NJCAA World Series titles.
