The University of South Carolina-Lancaster is a public university located in Lancaster, South Carolina. The university is part of the University of South Carolina System and offers associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees. USC Lancaster is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

USC Lancaster was founded in 1947 as Lancaster Junior College. The school became a four-year institution in 1963 and was renamed Lancaster College. In 1974, the college became a part of the University of South Carolina System and was renamed USC Lancaster.

USC Lancaster offers over 50 degree programs. The university is home to the James L. Knight School of Communication, the only stand-alone communication school in South Carolina. USC Lancaster is also home to the only undergraduate program in the state that offers a degree in mechatronics engineering.

The university has an enrollment of over 3,000 students. USC Lancaster is a commuter school, with over 80% of students living off campus. The university is located on a 300-acre campus in Lancaster, South Carolina.
