The University of New Mexico-Taos Campus is a two-year public college located in the small town of Taos, New Mexico. The campus is part of the University of New Mexico system, which includes the flagship campus in Albuquerque as well as campuses in Valencia County and Los Alamos. UNM-Taos offers associate's degrees in a variety of fields, including business, education, and the liberal arts. The campus is also home to a number of unique programs, such as a degree in sustainable living and a certificate in medical marijuana studies. UNM-Taos is a close-knit community, and students have the opportunity to get involved in a number of extracurricular activities, including student government, clubs and organizations, and intramural sports. The campus is located in a beautiful setting at the base of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, and students can take advantage of the area's many outdoor activities, including hiking, skiing, and rafting.
