Triton College is a public community college in River Grove, Illinois. It is the largest community college in Illinois and the second largest in the United States. It is a member of the City Colleges of Chicago.

Triton College was founded in 1964 as a two-year community college. It was originally named Illinois Central College, but the name was changed to Triton College in 1966. The college was named after the Greek god Triton, who was the son of Poseidon and the messenger of the sea.

Triton College offers over 100 associate degree and certificate programs in a variety of fields, including business, healthcare, liberal arts, and STEM. The college also offers a number of online and hybrid programs.
