Admission Requirements

Tillamook Bay Community College (TBCC) is an accredited, public two-year institution of higher education located in Tillamook, Oregon, United States. The college offers a variety of programs and degrees including Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS), and Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees as well as one-year certificates in a variety of career and technical fields.

TBCC is an open-admission college, meaning that any student who has a high school diploma or equivalent is eligible to enroll. However, some programs may have additional admission requirements. For example, the nursing program requires students to take a pre-admission exam and complete a health screening.

Once students are admitted to TBCC, they must complete a placement test to determine their level of English and math skills. Students who place into developmental English and/or math courses will be required to complete those courses before taking any college-level English and math courses.

TBCC has a variety of student services and support programs available to help students succeed. These include tutoring, academic advising, career services, and disability services. TBCC also has a strong commitment to student engagement and offers a variety of clubs and organizations, as well as opportunities to get involved in the local community.
