Texas Southmost College is a public community college in Brownsville, Texas. The college was established in 1926 as Brownsville Junior College, and is the oldest continuously operating community college in Texas. The college serves the cities of Brownsville, Port Isabel, and South Padre Island, and offers associate degrees and certificate programs in a variety of academic and career fields.
