Admission Requirements

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Hartsville (TCAT-Hartsville) is a public institution of higher education that provides career and technical education. The college offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates in a variety of programs in the areas of business and information technology, health sciences, industrial and skilled trades, and public service.

To be eligible for admission to TCAT-Hartsville, students must have a high school diploma or equivalent. The college also requires students to take a placement test to determine their level of readiness for college-level coursework. Students who do not meet the minimum score on the placement test may be required to take developmental courses before beginning their program of study.
