Surry Community College is a two-year community college located in Dobson, North Carolina. The college offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates in over 50 academic and career programs. The college also offers continuing education and workforce development programs.

Surry Community College was founded in 1964 as Surry County Industrial Education Center. The college was established to provide post-secondary education and training to the citizens of Surry County. The college began offering credit courses in 1967 and became a member of the North Carolina Community College System in 1968. The college changed its name to Surry Community College in 1987.

Today, Surry Community College serves over 4,000 students each year. The college is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. The college is committed to providing accessible, affordable, and quality education and training opportunities to the citizens of Surry County and the surrounding region.
