St Charles Community College is a public, two-year institution of higher education located in Cottleville, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. St. Charles Community College was founded in 1986 as a result of a community effort to provide quality, affordable higher education opportunities in the growing St. Charles County area. The college opened its doors to students in the fall of 1987 with a class of just over 1,000 students.
Since its inception, the college has experienced tremendous growth. Today, St. Charles Community College enrolls more than 11,000 students annually and is the largest provider of higher education in St. Charles County. The college has also been recognized as one of the top community colleges in the nation by the Aspen Institute and Washington Monthly magazine.

St. Charles Community College is located on a beautiful campus in Cottleville, Missouri, just minutes from St. Louis. The college is situated on 200 acres of land, with more than 50 buildings and facilities. The campus includes a state-of-the-art library, a fitness center, an outdoor track and field complex, and a performing arts center.
