Southside Virginia Community College (SVCC) is a two-year public institution of higher education located in Alberta, Virginia, United States. SVCC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award the Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, and Associate of Applied Science degrees. The college enrolls over 3,000 students annually and is the largest provider of workforce training in the Southside Virginia region.

SVCC was established in 1967 as Southside Virginia Technical Institute, a state-supported, two-year technical institute. The name was changed to Southside Virginia Community College in 1993 when the institution began offering a liberal arts curriculum in addition to its technical programs.

SVCC offers over 50 academic programs of study leading to the Associate degree, as well as a number of certificate programs. The college also provides a variety of workforce development and continuing education courses designed to meet the needs of businesses and individuals in the community.
