South Suburban College (SSC) is a community college in South Holland, Illinois, United States. It is part of the Illinois Community College System.

Founded in 1927, the college has grown from a small two-year school serving a few hundred students to a large multi-campus institution serving more than 15,000 students each year. SSC offers a wide variety of programs and courses, including more than 100 degree and certificate programs.

SSC is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The college is also accredited by the National League for Nursing and the National Association of Schools of Music.

SSC has two main campuses, one in South Holland and one in Oak Forest, Illinois. The college also has a number of satellite campuses and centers located throughout the south suburbs of Chicago.

The South Holland campus is the college's flagship campus and is home to the majority of the college's academic programs. The campus covers more than 200 acres (0.81 km2) and includes a number of buildings and facilities, including the college's main administrative offices, a library, a gymnasium, and a student center.

The Oak Forest campus is home to the college's health sciences programs. The campus includes a number of state-of-the-art health science facilities, including a nursing lab, a dental lab, and a simulated hospital.

In addition to its two main campuses, SSC also operates a number of satellite campuses and centers throughout the south suburbs of Chicago. These locations include the SSC Center for the Arts in Park Forest, the SSC Transportation Center in Matteson, and the SSC Waukegan Center in Waukegan, Illinois.

SSC is a comprehensive community college serving the south suburbs of Chicago. The college offers a wide variety of academic programs and courses, as well as a number of non-academic programs and services. SSC is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
