Seward County Community College is a two-year institution of higher education located in Liberal, Kansas, in the United States. The college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Seward County Community College was founded in 1965. The college was originally named Seward County Junior College. The first classes were held in the fall of 1966 with an enrollment of 191 students. The college moved to its present location on a 160-acre campus in 1968. In 1972, the college was renamed Seward County Community College. In 1975, the college began offering evening and weekend classes.
