Roxbury Community College (RCC) is a public community college in Roxbury, Massachusetts. It is the only community college in Massachusetts to offer associate degrees in both liberal arts and sciences. RCC also offers certificate programs and adult education classes.
RCC was founded in 1973, and its first class graduated in 1975. The college was originally located in the former Roxbury High School building, but moved to its current campus in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston in 1980.
RCC offers over 40 associate degree programs, as well as certificate programs and adult education classes. The college is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
RCC has a diverse student body, with students from over 70 countries enrolled at the college. The college offers a variety of student services, including academic advising, tutoring, and career counseling.
RCC is a member of the Massachusetts Community College System and the American Association of Community Colleges.
