Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) is a public community college in Gloucester County, New Jersey. It is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The college offers associate's degrees in arts, science, and applied science, as well as bachelor's degrees in nursing and business administration. RCSJ also provides workforce development and continuing education courses.
RCSJ was established in 1966 as Gloucester County College, a two-year institution serving the residents of Gloucester County. In 1992, the college was renamed Rowan College of South Jersey to reflect its status as a four-year institution. In 2015, RCSJ merged with Cumberland County College to form the Rowan College of South Jersey Cumberland Campus. The college is governed by a Board of Trustees, which is appointed by the Governor of New Jersey.
RCSJ is located on a 100-acre campus in Sewell, New Jersey. The campus includes several academic buildings, a library, a student center, a gymnasium, and athletic fields. RCSJ offers a variety of student services, including academic advising, tutoring, career counseling, and health services.
