Rose State College is a public community college in Midwest City, Oklahoma. It is the second-largest community college in the state of Oklahoma with an enrollment of over 10,000 students. The college offers over 60 degree and certificate programs in a variety of fields, including business, health sciences, liberal arts, and technology. Rose State College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The college is also a member of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and the Oklahoma Association of Community Colleges. Rose State College was founded in 1970 and is named after former Oklahoma governor and U.S. senator Robert S. Kerr. The college's main campus is located on a 110-acre (45 ha) site in Midwest City, just east of Oklahoma City. The college also has a campus in downtown Oklahoma City, which houses the college's aviation and cosmetology programs.
