Reid State Technical College is a public, two-year technical college located in Evergreen, Alabama, United States. The college is part of the Alabama Community College System. Reid State offers programs in Automotive Technology, Collision Repair Technology, Diesel Technology, HVAC Technology, Industrial Maintenance Technology, and Welding Technology. The college also offers a General Studies program for students who wish to complete their associate degree or transfer to a four-year institution.

Reid State was founded in 1963 as a trade school for the unemployed and underemployed citizens of Conecuh County. The school was named after John Reid, a local businessman and philanthropist who donated the land for the school. The first class of students enrolled in the fall of 1964. In its early years, the college offered programs in Automotive Mechanics, Diesel Mechanics, and Welding.

In the late 1960s, the college began to offer programs in other trades, such as Carpentry, Electrical Wiring, and Masonry. In 1971, the college was accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. In 1972, the college began offering its first associate degree program, in General Studies. In the 1980s, the college added programs in Computer Science, Nursing, and Radiologic Technology.

In the 1990s, the college experienced significant growth, adding several new buildings and expanding its programs and services. In 1998, the college was renamed Reid State Technical College to reflect its status as a technical college. In 1999, the college added a campus in Atmore, Alabama.

Today, Reid State Technical College is a comprehensive two-year technical college serving the citizens of Conecuh and Escambia Counties. The college offers programs in a variety of trades and technical fields, as well as a General Studies program for students who wish to complete their associate degree or transfer to a four-year institution. The college is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the Alabama Community College System.
