Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is a two-year institution of higher education located in Charlottesville, Virginia, United States. It is one of 23 community colleges in Virginia. The college is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award the Associate's degree.

In the fall of 1966, Charlottesville citizens approved a referendum establishing a community college for the city. The Virginia General Assembly then authorized the college in 1967. The college opened in 1968 with temporary facilities at Charlottesville High School. The first permanent facility opened in 1970 on a 135-acre (0.55 km2) site on U.S. 29 North. In 1996, the college purchased an additional 122 acres (0.49 km2) adjacent to the main campus.

PVCC offers a variety of programs and courses, including over 60 degree and certificate programs. The most popular programs are in the areas of business, health sciences, and liberal arts. The college also offers a number of online and hybrid courses and programs.
