Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA) is a two-year institution of higher education and is a part of the University of Arkansas System. The college is located in Helena-West Helena, Arkansas, in the Mississippi Delta region. The college offers associate degrees and certificates in a variety of academic and technical fields.
PCCUA was established in 1992 as a result of the merger of Phillips County Community College and the University of Arkansas at Helena. The college is named for James H. Phillips, a former president of the University of Arkansas and a native of Helena.
PCCUA is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The college is also accredited by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing and the National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission.
