Admission Requirements
In order to be admitted to Palomar College, students must meet the following requirements: be at least 18 years of age or have a high school diploma or equivalent, complete an application for admission, and submit all required transcripts and test scores.
Palomar College is a public community college in San Marcos, California. It is one of 112 colleges in the California Community Colleges system. The college was founded in 1946 and is named after the Palomar Mountain range.
Palomar College offers over 250 degree and certificate programs. The most popular programs are in the areas of business, health, and social and behavioral sciences.
To be eligible for admission to Palomar College, students must meet the following requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age or have a high school diploma or equivalent
Complete an application for admission
Submit all required transcripts and test scores
Students who do not meet the age or educational requirements may be admitted if they have completed college-level coursework or have relevant work experience.
Once all required materials have been submitted, the admissions office will review the application and determine whether the student has met the requirements for admission. If the student is eligible, they will be sent an acceptance letter and registration information. If the student is not eligible, they will be sent a letter explaining the reason for the denial of admission.
