Okaloosa Technical College, located in Northwest Florida, is a public, coeducational technical college that serves Okaloosa and Walton counties. The college offers over 50 programs of study in a variety of technical and career fields, as well as adult education and continuing education courses.

Okaloosa Technical College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges and is a member of the Florida Association of Community Colleges and the American Association of Community Colleges. The college is also certified by the Florida Department of Education and is licensed by the Commission for Independent Education.

The college was founded in 1966 as Okaloosa Vocational Technical School and began offering classes in 1967. The school was renamed Okaloosa Applied Technology Center in 1984 and Okaloosa Technical Center in 1992. The name was changed again to Okaloosa Walton Community College in 1999 and finally to Okaloosa Technical College in 2009.

The college is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees appointed by the Governor of Florida. The college president is Dr. Earl Ingram Jr.

Okaloosa Technical College has four campus locations: the Main Campus in Fort Walton Beach, the Chautauqua Center in DeFuniak Springs, the Robert L.F. Sikes Center in Crestview, and the South Walton Center in Santa Rosa Beach. The college also operates the Okaloosa Adult Education Center, which offers adult basic education, GED preparation, and English as a Second Language classes.

The college offers over 50 programs of study leading to associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Programs of study include aviation, business and information technology, cosmetology, culinary arts, health sciences, industrial and construction trades, and public safety.

The college has a variety of student services and support programs available, including academic advising, tutoring, career counseling, and job placement assistance. The college also has an active Student Government Association that provides leadership and service opportunities for students.
