Moore Norman Technology Center is a public, two-year career and technical education institution located in Norman, Oklahoma. It is one of the largest and most comprehensive technology centers in the state, serving over 11,000 students each year. The Technology Center offers over 130 different programs in a variety of career and technical fields, such as business and information technology, health sciences, manufacturing and construction, and public service.
The Technology Center is accredited by the Oklahoma State Department of Education and is a member of the Oklahoma Career and Technical Education System. The Technology Center is also accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences.
The Technology Center has two campuses, the South Campus in Norman and the North Campus in Moore. The South Campus is home to the Technology Center's main administration building, as well as the Business and Information Technology, Health Sciences, and Manufacturing and Construction programs. The North Campus houses the Technology Center's Public Service programs.
The Technology Center is governed by a nine-member Board of Education, which is appointed by the Norman City Council and the Moore City Council. The Board of Education sets policy for the Technology Center and employs the Superintendent, who is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Technology Center.
The Technology Center is funded by the state of Oklahoma, local property taxes, and student tuition and fees.
