Mitchell Community College is a two-year public college in Statesville, North Carolina. It is a part of the North Carolina Community College System. The college offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates in over 50 programs of study.

Mitchell Community College was founded in 1963 as a technical institute. It became a community college in 1965. The college is named after James A. Mitchell, a former North Carolina governor.

The college's main campus is located on a 100-acre (40 ha) site in northeastern Iredell County. The campus includes eight buildings: the Administration Building, the Student Services Building, the Applied Technologies Building, the Continuing Education Building, the Physical Education Building, the Library, the E.B. Jeffress Center, and the Charles R. Jonas Center.

Mitchell Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate degrees. The college is also accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing and the National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission.

The college offers over 50 programs of study leading to associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Associate degrees are offered in Arts, Science, and Applied Science. The college also offers a cooperative program with the University of North Carolina at Charlotte that allows students to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

Mitchell Community College has an open-admission policy. The college also offers a variety of financial aid programs to help students pay for their education.

The college is governed by a nine-member Board of Trustees. The trustees are appointed by the Governor of North Carolina and the North Carolina General Assembly. The college is administered by the president, who is appointed by the Board of Trustees.

The college has a faculty of over 100 full-time and over 200 part-time instructors. The student-to-faculty ratio is 18-to-1.

The college offers a variety of student services, including academic advising, tutoring, career counseling, and job placement assistance. The college also has a number of student organizations, including the Student Government Association, the Mitchell Community College Foundation, and the Phi Theta Kappa honor society.

Mitchell Community College is a member of the North Carolina Community College System and the American Association of Community Colleges.
