Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) is a public two-year technical college serving Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. The college has four campuses and two satellite centers throughout Milwaukee. It is the largest technical college in Wisconsin and one of the largest in the United States.

MATC offers more than 200 academic and technical programs leading to associate degrees, technical diplomas and certificates. The college also offers non-credit continuing education and customized training for business and industry.

MATC is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The college is also accredited by the following agencies: Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, American Dental Association, American Medical Association, Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs, National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation, and National League for Nursing.

MATC was founded in 1912 as a night school for Milwaukee's factory workers. The school was originally known as the Milwaukee Vocational School. In 1916, the school became affiliated with the University of Wisconsin and was renamed the Milwaukee Area Technical School. In 1933, the school was renamed the Milwaukee Area Technical College.

In the 1960s, MATC began offering daytime programs and expanded its curriculum to include liberal arts courses. In the 1970s, the college began offering four-year bachelor's degrees in applied science and engineering technology. In the 1980s, the college added associate degrees in nursing and health sciences.

Today, MATC is the largest technical college in Wisconsin and one of the largest in the United States. The college enrolls more than 33,000 students each year. MATC has four campuses and two satellite centers located throughout Milwaukee. The college offers more than 200 academic and technical programs leading to associate degrees, technical diplomas and certificates.
