Maysville Community and Technical College was established in 1965 as a branch of Ashland Community College. In 1968, the college became a separate institution and was renamed Maysville Community College. In 2003, the college was renamed Maysville Community and Technical College to reflect its expanded mission of providing technical and career training, as well as traditional academic programs.
Maysville Community and Technical College is located on a 74-acre campus in Maysville, Kentucky, a city of about 10,000 people located in northeastern Kentucky, about 60 miles from Cincinnati, Ohio. The college serves a four-county region that includes Mason, Lewis, Bracken, and Robertson counties.
