Founded in 1961, Massachusetts Bay Community College is a public, two-year institution of higher education located in Wellesley, Massachusetts. The college offers associate degrees and certificate programs in a variety of academic and career-oriented disciplines, as well as continuing education and adult basic education courses.

Massachusetts Bay Community College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. The college is comprised of three campuses: the Wellesley Hills Campus, the Framingham Campus, and the Ashland Campus.

The Wellesley Hills Campus is the college's main campus, and is home to the majority of the college's academic and administrative buildings, as well as the Wellesley Hills Library. The Framingham Campus houses the college's Health Sciences programs, while the Ashland Campus is home to the college's Center for Civic Engagement and Social Responsibility.
