Los Angeles City College (LACC) is a public community college in East Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. It is part of the Los Angeles Community College District and one of nine community colleges in the city. LACC offers academic and vocational programs in over 100 areas of study.

LACC is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The college is also approved by the California State Department of Education and is a member of the American Association of Community Colleges.

LACC is located on Vermont Avenue south of Santa Monica Boulevard. The college is adjacent to Hollywood High School and the Hollywood/Highland subway station. The college also has a satellite campus in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Wilmington.

LACC was founded in 1929 as Los Angeles Junior College. It was the first community college in the city and one of the first in the state. The college was originally located in a converted high school on Vermont Avenue.

In 1933, the college moved to its current location on Santa Monica Boulevard. The college expanded its facilities and programs in the 1950s and 1960s.

LACC offers over 100 academic and vocational programs. The college also has a strong international student program. LACC is home to the Los Angeles Film School and the Academy of Entertainment Technology.

The college has an active student life with over 50 student clubs and organizations. The college also has a vibrant performing arts scene with several theater and music groups.

LACC is one of the most diverse community colleges in the state. The student body is majority Hispanic and Latino. The college also has a large number of international students.
