Admission Requirements

Leech Lake Tribal College (LLTC) is a two-year institution of higher education that is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association. LLTC is located in Cass Lake, Minnesota, on the Leech Lake Indian Reservation. The college serves the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe, as well as other American Indian tribes in the region.

Admission to LLTC is open to all American Indian students, as well as non-Indian students who are interested in pursuing a degree in American Indian Studies. There is no minimum GPA requirement for admission, but all applicants must submit high school transcripts or GED scores. Applicants must also submit a completed LLTC application form, as well as a $20 application fee.

Once admitted, students are required to complete an orientation program prior to beginning their coursework. Orientation provides students with important information about the college, its programs and services, and the Leech Lake community.
