Lakes Region Community College (LRCC) is a public two-year college in Laconia, New Hampshire. LRCC is part of the Community College System of New Hampshire. The college offers associate degrees and certificate programs.
LRCC was founded in 1962 as the Belknap County Vocational School. The school was created in response to the need for skilled workers in the area. The school initially offered programs in automotive mechanics, carpentry, and machine shop. In 1968, the school became a community college and began offering academic programs. The college now offers over 50 programs of study.
LRCC is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education. The college’s nursing program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.
