Kapiolani Community College (KCC) is a public, co-educational community college in Honolulu, Hawaii situated on the slopes of Diamond Head in Waikiki. It is one of ten campuses of the Hawaii Community College System and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The college offers two-year degrees and certificates in various liberal arts and vocational-technical programs.

Kapiolani Community College was established in 1955 as Honolulu Community College (HCC). It was the first community college in the state of Hawaii and was founded to meet the needs of the growing population of post-World War II veterans attending college on the G.I. Bill. The college was originally located in downtown Honolulu near Fort Street Mall. In 1960, the college moved to its current location in Waikiki. In 1970, the college was renamed Kapiolani Community College after Queen Kapiolani, the queen consort of King Kalakaua.

Kapiolani Community College is one of the largest community colleges in the state of Hawaii, with an enrollment of over 10,000 students. Admission Requirements

Kapiolani Community College (KCC) is a public, co-educational college located in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States.
