Hinds Community College, located in central Mississippi, is a two-year public institution of higher learning. Founded in 1917, Hinds CC is the largest community college in the state of Mississippi, serving more than 20,000 students each year. The college offers a variety of programs and courses, including academic, career and technical, and workforce development programs, as well as online and distance learning opportunities. Hinds CC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges and is a member of the American Association of Community Colleges.
